NSW: Man shot dead in Punchbowl street
SYDNEY, Aug 29 AAP - A man was shot dead in a street in Sydney's south west this afternoon.
A NSW police spokeswoman said the man was shot on Koala Road at Punchbowl, shortlybefore 2pm (AEST).
"A man appears to have died after suffering a gunshot wound during a shooting incidentnear Parry Park in Punchbowl," she said.
"A small black car was seen leaving the scene heading west along Punchbowl Road.
"Campsie detectives are currently carrying out investigations."
